We had such a great time.  The boys were able to earn quite a few merit badges.

The Wind Rivers

Our boys just got back from the Wind Rivers. It looks like they had a blast.










It's not every day you see our bishop being pulled up the river. 

 They say the pictures don't do it justice.  It is just beautiful.

Goblin Valley

Wow, these pictures are great.  I think it is safe to say that the scouts had fun!   

 We just wanted to give the leaders a special thanks for all the time the give to the boys.  You guys are awesome!  I think the leaders like going camping just as much as the boys do.

Skyler Romero

Skyler Romero is a great scout.  He just recently earned several merit badges; Swimming, backpacking, first aid, skating,shot gun shooting, and more.  He has really been working hard.  He never complains on the camp outs and really helps out.  We have enjoyed getting to know him better.  

 At youth conference Skyler and the boys made Warren a sandwich that had peanut butter, honey, jam, turkey, ham, mayo, lettuce, mustard, pickles, grapes and banana laffy taffy.  Gross!  You can see the excitement in Skyler's face and the fear in Warrens.  

District Award of Merit

Warren Youngberg received the District Award of Merit.  It is the highest district award you can get and you have to be nominated by your fellow scouts.  Warren has always loved scouting.  He really cares about the boys in the ward.  He enjoys going camping with them and getting to know them.  He was very excited to receive this award.

The scouts and Ellie went shot gun shooting at the Lions club range.  They had a great time.
